a Story...

there is a little lame thing called Much-Afraid who lives down in the valley of humilation...
all the members of her family would say one thing abt her... she is the long forgotten one...
so she went to the shepard and work for Him... tending His sheeps...
one day... she ask if the Shepard, if she could go to the high places with Him... He planted the seed of love which had 2 sharp sides into her heart...
He agreed to bring her there but she must obey Him so that She can eat with the King at the high places... when her family heard that she is working for the Shepard, they were furious, as He is their enemy... so they wanted tie her down and bring her to marry Craven Fear... but Ms Valiant came to help her chase the fear family away...
so she was able to go to the high places with the Shepard...
when the Shepard was away He left her into the hands of His helpers, Pain and Sorrow... But He would be there at the second se caled Him... because she did not hold the hands of the 2 helpers all the time, her distant cousin, Pride was able to hold her hands.. but when she called on the Shepard, He hit a big blow on Pride and he ran away in pain... and gentlly but in firm rebuke told Much-Afraid that she had to hold the hands of the 2 helpers, if she had she would not be in the hands of pride... so she grasps the hands of the 2 strong helpers... she had not been so full of pain and so bitter with sorrow before... oh if she hadnt hold the hands of pride...
and after going up the mountains to towards the high place, the helpers was going to bring her down into the endless desert...
she would want to go down there, thinking there must be a mistake of some sort...
so she called on to the Shepard again...the Shepard assured her that its not contradiction, only postponement[indefinate postponement] for the best to become possible... den she went down and sobb at His feet...
He said quietly,"Much-Afraid, do you love Me enough to accept the postponement and the apparent contradiction of the promised, and go down there with Me into the desert?"
She was still crouching at His feet, sobbing as if her heart would break, but now she looked up through her tears, caught His hands in hers, and said, trembling, "I do love You, You know that i do love You. Oh forgive me because I can't help my tears. I will go down with You into the wilderness, right away, from the promised, if You really wish it. Even if You cannot tell me why have the it has to be, i will go down with You, for You know i do love You, and You have the right to choose for me anything that You please."
then Much-Afraid made an altar and surrendered her rebelling will a little spurt of flame came from somewhere, in an instant nothing but a heap if ashes was ling there... and a dark-coloured pebble. the Shepard told her to pick it up and bring it with her as a memorial...
and this was her first surrender...
