my studio proj is OVER!
yeah!
the hols has just begin and i dunno what to do for some things...
and so i got ready some VCDs, DVDs, storybooks to read...
den come Emerge'07!
okays...gonna join Jean in Debate and Entrepreneur...
and the comic strip contest...
and fyi... kinda taken aback cause i havent really been of GP lately...
kinda go down in my mind a bit when i join this course... DMD...
okays so here's the debate thing...

Qualifying Round - 16 Mar (Fri) :

• Structure of debate: Impromptu debate.
• Four motions per category will be given (refer below). Teams will not know what motion they'll be doing, or what side of the house they will get until the Qualifying Round itself.
• Teams will have 45 minutes to prepare for the debate.
• Each speaker can speak for 3 minutes.
• The timekeeper would ring the buzzer at the 2nd minute and when the time limit is up. When the speaker has exceeded the time limit by 15 seconds, the timekeeper would ring the bell continuously.
• There will be no reply speech or points-of-information during the qualifying round.
• 4 teams with the most number of points would qualify for the Semifinals. If more than 4 teams tie for number of points, the teams with higher scores would qualify.

Semifinals - 20 Apr (Fri) :

• Structure of debate: Formal debate.
• The motion and side will be released to teams on week before the actual debate.
• Each speaker will get 6 minutes to speak.
• Points-of-Information may be offered by teams during the speeches of their opponents, between the 1st and the last minute(6th minute).
• After the 3rd speaker from the opposition team has delivered his/her speech, there will be a 1-minute adjournment where all members may help the reply speaker with his/her speech.
• A 3-minute closing summative speech (reply speech) will be delivered by either the 1st or the 2dn speaker of each team. No new materials (rebuttals, points) may be included. Speaker from the opposition team will deliver the speech first, followed by the proposition team.
• The 2 teams with the highest points will qualify for the Finals.
• Finals - 31 May (Thurs)

Motions for Qualifying Round :

1. This house believes more women should be in Parliament.
2. This house would impose democracy.
3. This house believes the UN is irrelevant in today's context.
4. This house believes that compulsory vaccination is a necessary infringement upon people's freedom.

and believe me i dont do this kinda talking everyday...
i may be not rusty in my maths but this?

i feel like giving up...

and btw... last night i was washing the bowls for Playgroup and i took out my ring and left it on the basin's soap dispenser... this is a really really cool ring! with roman numbers on it... and guess what! i for got abt it until after PM... booo hooo!
and i pray that my lovely church members or the washing aunty would pass it to the lost and found counter i would really appreciate it! boohoohoo...

its just that, many times i seem to be the kind that's very open, always doing crazy...

1) lost contact after she changed school...

some parents complainted that the school made the kids stay!
